Our guides can help elevate your skills, find new spots, and master the art of fly fishing. We practice and enforce catch and release on the Gallatin.
Fly fishing is not permitted from boats on the Gallatin River, our guide can take you to prime walk and wade fishing holes. This is a great way to get to know the Gallatin and access sweet spots from our private riverside property.
These are mixed group classes with a maximum of 3 guests, we require at least two participants with advanced reservation for the trip to take place. We may suggest alternative time slots help fill in existing classes if your preferred session does not have the required minimum participation.
Details
- Early reservations are highly recommended and are the only way to get a guaranteed trip.
- Montana Fishing License Required - You must obtain a Montana Fishing License prior to your arrival at the shop. By one at a local retailer or purchase a license online.
- Meeting location- Montana Whitewater's Fly Fishing Adventure Center at mile marker 55.5 on Hwy 191
- Address- 55365 Gallatin Rd., Gallatin Gateway, MT 59730)
- Lunch is NOT included - you can bring your own and use our picnic area, or purchase lunch at our main office (mile marker 64)
- We need a minimum of 2 people to run this trip and a maximum of 4 per guide.
- As a company, we follow catch and release policies in order to keep the fish populations healthy.
