Montana Whitewater offers whitewater rafting for ages 6+ on multiple sections of river that vary in difficulty to meet your needs.
Our Gallatin office, which is 9 miles North of our Fly Fishing Center, offers whitewater rafting on the Gallatin River! Most of our trips begin in Beautiful Big Sky Montana. Depending on your expectations, correctly timing your trip can be the most important factor. Do you want to raft the infamous, class IV Mad Mile? The water is highest early in the season, then tapers off as the summer progresses. Looking for a mellower ride? Check out the upper Gallatin any time or the Lower Gallatin later in the summer.
Our trips start in Big Sky and our office is conveniently located a short drive from the end of your raft trip, getting you back to your dry clothes, photos, and snacks in a matter of minutes – usually 10 or less! Also, wetsuits and booties are always free!
